For my 100th review, I’m reviewing a non-fiction book which is actually my first! □īetween the World and Me (a line taken from a Richard Wright poem) by Ta-nehesi Coates was inspired by James Baldwin’s 1963 classic work The Fire Next Time, which was written in epistolary form for his nephew. It’s also one of the most hyped up books in Booktube and I haven’t seen any bad reviews of it yet. I’m happy with my choice considering that this is one of the books that has been on my radar since its release last year. When I got tired of thinking, on a whim, I picked up this book. ![]() ![]() It took me some time to actually decide what book to read for my 100th review.
